Commentary:

Tagesbote aus Böhmen 4/6/1857 reported that ‘Yesterday, the 3rd [June], during the morning His Majesty the Emperor Ferdinand departed Prague for the Imperial Summer Residence of Ploschkowitz [Ploškovice]. The departure took place by private train from the Bubenecz [Bubeneč] Station, where the His Excellency the Governor Baron von Mecséry and His Excellency the Commandant General Field Marshal Count Clam-Gallas had gathered. The train set out from the station at 9 o’clock, to a guard of honour comprising the Royal Line-Infantry Regiment of Baron Wernhardt, the musical ensemble of which played the National Anthem. The departure of Her Majesty the Empress Maria Anna for Strà in Italy is set for 6th June.’

Later on 3rd June, the Tageskalender almanac of Bohemia 3/6/1857 noted that the ensemble of Wernhardt’s Regiment performed on Střelecký ostrov.
