Národní listy 15/4/1863 published news that ‘In Civic Society [Měšťanská beseda] will take place a musical entertainment today, to which also the wives of members of the Society are invited. Commencing at 8pm.’ An advertisement appeared in the same issue of the newspaper announcing: ‘Civic Society [Měšťanská beseda]. Today Wednesday 15th April will be in the place of the Society a musical entertainment [hudební zábava]. Commencing at 8pm. The Committee cordially invite gentlemen members and their spouses.’
