A public notice giving information of this rehearsal was published by Národní listy 22/2/1863. The source announced: ‘Esteemed gentlemen performing members of Hlahol. For the purpose of the concert, scheduled for 27th February, will take place extra rehearsals on 23th and 24th February, main rehearsal on 26th February, all at 7 o’clock.’ Although not specified by the source, the most likely venue for these rehearsals would have been the rooms of the Žofín Academy. A rehearsal of Hlahol had also taken place there early in February.
