A notice was published by Prager Morgenpost 14/2/1863 announcing: ‘Flöte. This evening Kopmmann.’ The source was providing a notice either to the public that the singing society would be performing that evening at Koppmann’s [Guest house], or to members of the society that a meeting (maybe a rehearsal) was being held that evening at the venue.The former seems more plausible given that the institution gave fruqient performances in 1863 and that Koppmann’s Guest house was one of the city’s venues for such popular musical entertainments.
