Martin Traugott Wilhelm Blumner

Blumner, Martin Traugott Wilhelm (1827-1902). German composer and conductor. Passed most of his life in Berlin where he studied theology, philosophy, mathematics and natural sciences before turning to a musical career. Member and then director of the Berlin Singakademie. Later professor of music at the University of Berlin.
