Prager Morgenpost 10/10/1858 published an advertisement noting the opening of this ‘Winter-Lokalitäten’ [Winter locality], presumably implying that the venue exclusively opened for business (including musical entertainments) during the winter months. This may have been the venue which Tagesbote aus Böhmen 7/6/1857 noted was in the process of construction, reporting: ‘Construction of the new Restaurant on the Bastion next to the Station is now fully advanced, and already gas pipes for the lighting of the venue have been installed, and will be opening at the beginning of next month.’Restaurant on the Bastion by the Station - Restauration nächst dem Bahnhofe auf der Bastei
