Ponta, Jenny. Pianist, appearing with sister Therese in Prague in 1857. Described by Mercy’s Anzeiger 6/2/1857 as ‘from Munich [aus München]’. Tagesbote aus Böhmen 29/3/1857 reported that ‘Last Friday the Ponta sisters gave in Brno a farewell concert. This was numerously attended. The travelling art-family La Rosée has been enriched with another member. The sisters Therese and Jenny have been joined by their younger brother Joseph, a pianist.
