Commentary:

Bohemia 9/3/1862 published news noting that ‘Eight days from today (on 16th) takes place at 12 noon the concert for the benefit of free meals for law students, in which Miss Lucca [Luccová], the Prussian court opera singer, will participate.’

This concert in aid of lunches for poor law students was held on the same day and at the same time as the first of the 1862 season of concerts given by the Prague Conservatory. Národní listy 8/4/1862 reported that the occasion made a profit of 1521zl. The programme is reproduced in performance order according to the report published by Národní listy 14/3/1862.
