News was publised by Der Tagesbote 25/1/1854 that on Friday 27th January for the birthday celebrations of Her Serene Royal Highness Archduchess Sophie, the Žofín Academy was arranging a performance in St Clement’s church in Charles Street [Karlová ulice] of a solemn high mass. This would include a performance of a Mass by Führer, a graduale (Pater noster) by Liszt and an offertorium (Ave Maria) with obbligato organ by Lohr, a former pupil of Pietsch [Pitsch].
