Similar advertisements were published in Bohemia 6/1/1860 and Prager Morgenpost 7/1/1860. They noted the event, the venue and time, and stated that admission would cost 30kr. The Tageskalender appearing in Bohemia 8/1/1860 noted in addition that music would be performed by the ensemble of the Civil Sharpshooters.

A brief review of this event was published by Prager Morgenpost 9/1/1860 reporting that ‘The Musical trial for the Law Students’ Ball yesterday in the Žofín Hall amused the numerous audience with very pretty new dance music. The pieces, among which the amateur compositions „Astra Galopp
, then the Albertinen-Polka together with the Waltzes by Mr Kapellmeister Hopf particularly impressed, were performed by the String Orchestra of the Infantry Regiment of Count Nugent with real precision and fire.’
