Prager Morgenpost 30/12/1858 published news of this series of Dance-Garlands being given during the Carnival period in the Konvikt Hall each Thursday on 13, 20, 27 January and 3, 10, 17 and 24 February. The series would end with a Festival Ball. Also noted was the participation of the ensemble of the Infantry Regiment of Baron Wernhardt under the direction of its Kapellmeister L. Jeschko [Ludevít Ješko].

An advertisement for these ‘Tanz-Kränzchen’ [Dance Garlands] published in Prager Morgenpost 12/1/1859 and 13/1/1859 also listed the dates of later events in this series. The text noted admission prices. For the entire series an entry ticket cost 2fl 60kr in new Austrian currency. Admission to a single producion cost 50kr in advance or 70kr at the door. The prices of an advance ticket for the whole series and for tickets available at the door were also published in an advertisement appearing in Prager Morgenpost 20/1/1859.

A brief résumé of the first of these events was published by Prager Morgenpost 16/1/1859. This enthused that the occasion, attended by a ‘very numerous and refined’ audience, was a ‘delight’ and that future productions of this Carnival entertainment were eagerly awaited. The dance pieces were led by the ‘favourite’ dance teacher Tenner, with the Quadrille a la cour and the Esmerelda-Tanz gaining great applause. No further details were given.
