Bělská, Louisa. Soprano singer. Wife of a leading Prague builder. Originally an educated amateur singer who during the early 1860s developed a singing career and appeared frequently in public concerts. Dalibor 10/8/1859 reported that she was appearing as primadona at the court opera in Vienna, and this was confirmed by Der Tagesbote 22/3/1860 in a concert review which noted she had studied in Vienna under Eckert and appeared at the Kärnthnethortheater during the previous summer.
