Private Prague restaurant before the New Gates [Neuthore / Nová brána], the gateway in the city walls between the bastions of St Nicholas and St Peter and Paul, at the junction between Marianská ulice and Senovážné náměstí [Mariengasse and Heuwegs Platz]. Opened in 1850. Summer venue for outdoor musical entertainments. Also a winter venue, presumably indoors.
