A report, signed ‘ŋ’, appeared in Bohemia 15/12/1850 stating that the ‘productions of Liedertafel by the Deutsche Casino will in future be combined with musical productions. Such a Soirée takes place next Tuesday 17th in the evening.’ Earlier during the year the Casino had organized Liedertafel entertainments for and with its members. The new ‘productions’ presumably included performances of other types of music in addition to male-voice partsongs and choruses. This event, its date, time and venue, was listed in the Tagesanzeiger texts of Bohemia 15/12/1850 and 17/12/1850. However, these two sources noted only ‘Evening in the Deutsche Casino: Liedertafel.’
